CLASS I

Work includes but is not limited to:

Troubleshooting flame safeties in boilers, incinerators, or process combustion applications
  1. Tuning boilers, including package boiler combustion testing, incinerator setting, etc.
  2. Boiler inspections and cleanings
  3. Minor boiler repairs and retrofits
  4. Calibration of non-PC, PLC, or microprocessor controls - steam flow, recorders, oxygen analyzers, etc.

CLASS II

Work includes but is not limited to:

  1. Microprocessor control set-up and calibration (Bailey SLC03,4, 1500’s, Hays Cleveland, etc.)
  2. Full meter combustion setup, pneumatic or electric
  3. Powerhouse control wiring for control systems
  4. Designing control loops, for process combustion, boiler or incinerator loops

CLASS III

This work includes but is not limited to:

  1. CAD, SCADA development, modeling, ASME paperwork, etc.
  2. All PLC work (Allen-Bradley, Intellution, Grayhill, Sixnet, etc.)

CLASS IV

This work includes but is not limited to:

  1. Testing, design, and consulting as it relates to the above classes

CLASS V

Work includes but is not limited to;

  1. Mechanical repairs
  2. Installation of mechanical equipment or systems which require:
  1. Welding
  2. Pipe fitting or tubing
  3. Boiler tubes
  4. Structural erection
  5. Fabrication
  6. Rigging
  7. Refractory repairs

CLASS VI

Work includes but is not limited to;

  1. ASME Repairs, PP or R Stamp work
  2. Installation of mechanical equipment or systems which require:
  1. Welding
  2. Pipe fitting or tubing
  3. Boiler tubes
  4. Structural erection
  5. Fabrication

CLASS VII

Work includes but is not limited to:

  1. Water treatment analysis and control visits: weekly, monthly, quarterly, seminally or annually
  2. Boiler opening for inspection
  3. Boil out or acid cleaning

CLASS VIII

Work includes but is not limited to:

  1. Evaluation of powerhouse equipment or systems for efficiency or life cycle
  2. Develop master plan for future powerhouse expansion or cost reduction
  3. Design and implementation of powerhouse automation
